Spent Xmas at a hidden gem in the Loire Valley and it was amazing! the rooms were beautifully decorated and had air conditioning which was great. the staff was really friendly and organised horseback riding and shooting. Plus, we had a Sommelier for one evening who brought us fabulous boutique wines. Lastly, the location was perfect for exploring the area.
The downsides were minimal, as expected in such a private and exclusive place: no 24/7 service availability and limited choice options at dinner and breakfast.

This charming hotel is truly a hidden gem in the Loire Valley. the rooms are beautifully decorated and the beds are incredibly comfortable. the bathrooms are stunning, with instant hot water and soft towels. the dining room is cozy, with a lovely open fire, and the food prepared by Betty is absolutely delicious. the hotel grounds are well-maintained and there are plenty of activities nearby, such as shooting, horse riding, swimming, and fishing. It's the perfect destination for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.
The hotel's small team may result in limited service availability and dining options.

Absolute gem. The location is idyllic in the middle of the Loire countryside and the hotel decor is wonderful. The breakfast provided is varied, gourmet and the portions are generous. Special shout-out for the fantastic service and the cozy fireplace in the dining room.
Sadly, the swimming pool wasn't functional and there was spotty wifi in some areas.

Wonderful place, beautifully done with high standard furnishings, comfortable beds, large clean bathrooms, excellent toiletries. Feast of fresh fruit, breads, pastries, juice, coffee and tea. Spacious rooms, well-insulated. Charming hunting lodge, superbly maintained, attention to detail. Friendly hosts, unique dining experiences, amazing value.
Nothing. It was perfect.
